Cultural Diversity Day
School Playground and Nature Area No. 16, Block D Osei Bonsu Road, Santasi, Kumasi, GhanaCultural Diversity Day will celebrate the different cultures and traditions represented in the preschool community. Children are encouraged to come dressed in traditional attire from their heritage and bring a cultural dish to share. The day will include music, dance, storytelling, and a mini cultural parade. This event promotes understanding, respect, and appreciation for the variety of cultures that make up the school community.
Term 2 Begins
The second academic term officially starts, marking the continuation of learning activities. Students return to school after the holiday break, and lessons resume as per the new term’s curriculum.
First Unit Test Begins
The first set of assessments for Term 2 starts. These tests evaluate students’ understanding of the topics covered so far and help teachers identify areas where students may need additional support.
Chocolate Day
A fun and lighthearted event where students and staff celebrate friendship, kindness, and appreciation. Schools may organize activities like exchanging chocolates, writing appreciation notes, or small celebrations to promote a positive school environment.
Republic Day
Republic Day is a national holiday celebrating the adoption of the country’s constitution and the establishment of the republic. Schools and offices remain closed as people observe the day with patriotic activities, parades, and cultural events.
