Admission Process

Headstart Eden International School is dedicated to an admission policy that aligns with its mission and vision in a fair and transparent way, reflecting the school's core values. The admission process is merit-based and promotes inclusion. Applications are accepted for early childhood, primary, and Lower Secondary (Junior High School) levels.

The Admission Journey

Step One
Application Form

Download and fill a prospective student application form or walk in and pick up admission forms at the school's administration. Fill and submit to the administrator at a fee of GH₵ 000.00

Step Two
Supporting Documents

Submit a copy of your child's birth certificate or passport bio page, a copy of your child's latest school report, and a passport-size photograph.

Step Three
Assessment

Assessments in English and Mathematics will be conducted starting from Kindergarten Two onwards. Dates will be announced in advance.

Step Four
Class Placement

Students who fulfil the requirements and successfully pass the assessment will be placed in their preferred class, determined by their age and prior grade level. Please note there is a minimum age requirement for each academic year.

Step Five
Confirm Enrolment

Once parents accept the admission offer, full payment of the term's fees is required to confirm admission. Please note that partial payments are not allowed.

Students are placed in accordance with British National Curriculum guidelines. Yes. Siblings of currently enrolled students are given priority consideration during the admissions process, subject to available spaces in the relevant year group.
Yes. If a year group is at capacity, eligible applicants are placed on a waiting list and contacted as soon as a space becomes available.
The minimum age requirements follow the British National Curriculum guidelines outlined in the placement table above. A child must turn the relevant age by the start of the academic year to be eligible for that year group.
Yes, under our Late Admission policy. A pupil may be enrolled at any point during the academic year provided a space is available and it is confirmed the student can keep up with the current level of learning.
No. Full payment of the term's fees is required to confirm and secure an admission offer. Partial payments are not accepted under the school's policy.
Headstart Eden International School follows the British National Curriculum, with class placements aligned to the year group system used in England and Wales. This is mapped against the Ghana Education Service curriculum and USA/Canada equivalents.
